The Ottawa Doll Club is a group of doll collecting enthusiasts focused on learning and sharing each other’s knowledge, collections and recent discoveries.

The meetings are held the second Wednesday of each month at the Nepean Museum, 16 Rowley Avenue, (just off Meadownlands–see map at the bottom of the page).

Our members are interested in a wide variety of dolls and doll related items. From antiques to modern, composition to Barbies or paper dolls and miniatures.

At the monthly meetings our presentations allow for opportunities to learn about different doll types: new, modern, contemporary, vintage and antique. We also take time to socialize and reconnect while enjoying light refreshments.

Show-and-Tell is always a group favourite where we get to enjoy new and old treasures alike, brought in by our doll-collecting friends.

Our club began in 1974 as a way for doll-makers to meet and since has steadily evolved into a group encompassing all aspects of doll collecting as a hobby.

Guests, and possible new members, are always welcome.

Please come join us,

Renee Gauthier

President 2016/2018

  1. I am interested in learning more about the Doll Club; I make Rag Dolls and would like to connect with other collectors and creators.
